Every great run starts with a first step… and for us, it began right here on Prince Edward Island. We’re Mike Both and Sheila Kerry, a husband-and-wife team, runners, and proud members of the Island’s
running community.

The name Double Loop pays homage to the PEI Marathon’s double loop course—Sheila’s first marathon—and the spirit of the Island that keeps runners coming back. When we opened Double Loop Running Co. at the end of July 2025, our goal was simple: to create more than a store. We wanted to build a space that feels like home—a welcoming hub for every runner, jogger, and walker, no matter their pace or experience. To date, some of our favorite memories are when clients (who we now consider friends) pop in to let us know how they did in their latest race, chat about their running goals, or come by just to say hi.

The infinity loop in our logo reflects what we believe: running is forever. It’s accessible, ever-evolving, and open to everyone.
